We bought these for the front porch of an old general store where we have our offices. We haven't had them long enough to comment on their durability. You will need plenty of time and some carpentry experience to assemble. We had trouble centering the seat and not splitting the wood when pre-drilling for the screws, although once together, they are solid. As outdoor chairs they should come with waterproof glue and touch up paint. We were able to request paint from the manufacturer. Nonetheless, they are nice, comfortable rocking chairs and the price is excellent.

Sadly disappointed. Pieces were beautiful unassembled. BUT, upon assembly, the pieces did not fit where guide holes were- arms were not long enough to fit into back of chairs. You would need to force and beat with mallot to try to get to fit and even then wood split. They would have been beautiful on my porch if the pieces were actually made to fit properly.

      Bought these because I decided to replace the dining set on the patio and go with something with a more relaxed feel. Love them. Great buy. Easy to put together. It took me about 50 mins to assemble each one. Instructions very easy to understand.

      I love the rockers. They are just what I expected. The assembly wasn't my thing since I usually read instructions after the fact. My reinforcement (Dad) was called in and then things got easy. The screws provided weren't the greatest for the type of wood and I didn't realize what a difference that made. He used some better screws and his magic and voila it was done.
