For five generations, since 1834, the Hinkle family has been making quality hardwood furniture in the same location in Springfield, Tenn. What started with ladder back chairs has evolved to include rocking chairs, and since 1932 the Hinkle family has been producing chairs full time. By 1948, Hinkle Chair Company had 16 full-time employees that could produce an incredible 200 chairs per day. By 1996 Hinkle Chair Company built two new facilities to keep up with production. They are now able to meet the demands of the rocking chair market as well as offer new and exciting products.
