      Comments about Tidewater Workshop American Garden 4-ft. Glider:

      The bench look great and seems solid. [...] a few drawbacks: 4 bolts were missing (they said they'd said them immediately when I called); and directions were not great. A picture for the putting the glider bottom together would be helpful (after all, it's worth a thousand words!) and a picture identifying the different types of screws/bolts that are referred to in the direction. Also, pilot holes were not big enough, so you had to redrill them. One of the cross bars to brace the glider bottom had a huge knot in it which had fallen out - I was able to turn it so that it wouldn't show, but the rest of the wood looks pretty good.

      Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

      The materials were very rough and the wood needed major sanding. The instructions should have come with pictures. I am pleased with the overall product, but that is because I put so much extra work into sanding the glider and putting on protective varnish.

      Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
