This chair was a huge disappointment for the price. The only piece that came assembled was the seat, and it fell apart when I took it out of the box, luckily I was able to fix it. There should be dowels or something to fill the screw holes, the screwheads look horrible. For this price, I would have expected much better quality. I found pre-assembled chairs that were much nicer and less expensive after I purchased this one, but it would have cost me too much time and money to return this one. This was a gift for my grandson's first Christmas and I'm glad he won't really remember it. I intend to get him a GOOD rocker soon.

Noticed during assembly that planks that make up the seat are all different lengths and are warped as well. When seat is put together, there is no smooth rounded front edge under my kid's legs but rather an uneven surface with some boards sticking out much farther than others and boards that are of uneven height too. Very uncomfortable and a FAR cry from the perfect sample that rocking-chairs.com has pictured on their website. I did not return the chair because I would have had to pay return postage as well as outgoing postage (since I would not have wanted to exchange the chair for yet another imperfect piece or order anything else from their site) and after paying postage both ways I would have been close to the purchase price of the chair. Not worth returning; too uncomfortable to keep. Very disappointed and unhappy with the purchase. Needless to say, I will not order anything from this site again.
